Auburn Starting Left Tackle Xavier Chaplin Plans to Enter Transfer Portal

Chaplin started all 12 games at left tackle in 2025, recording five games graded 90% or higher but drawing frequent penalties and early pass-protection miscues.
The 6-foot-7 Virginia Tech transfer was described as a high-dollar addition last cycle and previously earned All-ACC honorable mention in Blacksburg.
He is reported to have remaining NCAA eligibility.
