- Notre Dame will host on Sept. 25, 2027 in South Bend, with the return game at Auburn on Oct. 28, 2028.
- Notre Dame notes it will be its first trip to Alabama since 1986, while Auburn will play its first-ever game in Indiana.
- The series replaces the scrapped Auburn–UCLA matchups and finalizes Auburn’s 2027 nonconference slate with Middle Tennessee and Missouri State.
