Aubrey Plaza Shares Apartment with Patti LuPone as Preparation for Off-Broadway Debut

Living together since Plaza's apartment wasn't ready, Broadway veteran LuPone goes beyond giving Plaza advice to doing house chores like cooking and laundry, aiming to prepare the actress ahead of her stage debut in "Danny and the Deep Blue Sea".

• Aubrey Plaza has been living with Broadway legend Patti LuPone as she prepares for her off-Broadway debut in 'Danny and the Deep Blue Sea'. LuPone has taken upon herself to assist Plaza beyond just advice, helping with house chores such as cooking and laundry.
• Besides living together, Plaza and LuPone will also be co-starring in the upcoming Disney+ miniseries 'Agatha: Darkhold Diaries'. Plaza and LuPone first developed their relationship while filming the WandaVision spinoff.
• LuPone absolved Plaza to stay at her apartment when Plaza's rented apartment wasn't ready for her move-in. Their cohabitation lasted about a month, with LuPone admitting to missing Plaza after her departure since their bonding time diminished.
• Plaza also shared that LuPone provided important life lessons, especially in dealing with challenges. An example being when Plaza came down with strep throat just before rehearsals started, LuPone comforted her by stating it was a reminder to 'toughen up'.
• Plaza is playing the character of Roberta in the off-Broadway revival of 'Danny and the Deep Blue Sea', alongside co-star Christopher Abbott. The play began on Nov. 13 and will run until Jan. 7.
