Overview
- The Jimmy Connors Group features Carlos Alcaraz, Novak Djokovic, Taylor Fritz and Alex de Minaur, with Jannik Sinner, Alexander Zverev, Ben Shelton and either Felix Auger-Aliassime or Lorenzo Musetti in the Bjorn Borg Group.
- Djokovic said he will decide on Turin after Athens and reached the Athens semifinals on Thursday, keeping his status for the year-end event unresolved.
- Musetti also advanced to the Athens semifinals and will qualify for Turin as the eighth player only if he wins the title; otherwise Auger-Aliassime retains the last spot.
- If Djokovic withdraws before the Finals, the player who finishes ninth in the Race (Auger-Aliassime or Musetti) would take his place in Alcaraz’s group, with alternates then adjusted under ATP rules.
- The Nitto ATP Finals run Nov. 9–16 at Turin’s Inalpi Arena, using a round-robin format with the top two in each group to the semifinals, as Alcaraz and Sinner vie for year-end No. 1.
