- The debut list was unveiled Thursday night at Wynn Las Vegas, naming New York City’s Atomix the region’s No. 1 restaurant for 2025.
- Montreal’s Mon Lapin placed second and Ontario’s Restaurant Pearl Morissette ranked third, with Smyth (Chicago) and Tanière3 (Quebec City) rounding out the top five.
- The compilation features 37 restaurants from the United States, 11 from Canada and two from the Caribbean, with New York City emerging as the most represented city.
- Organizers said the ranking reflects votes from an anonymous panel of 300 chefs, restaurateurs, journalists, educators and experienced diners.
- Special honors included the Icon Award for Normand Laprise and North America’s Best Female Chef for Chutatip “Nok” Suntaranon, alongside additional prizes for hospitality, sustainability and community impact.
