Overview

  • Five hard drives containing watermarked unreleased tracks, show footage plans and past and future setlists were stolen from a rental Jeep Wagoneer used by Beyoncé’s choreographer and a dancer on July 8
  • Investigators dusted the vehicle for prints, reviewed Krog Street Market parking-deck surveillance and used Apple’s Find My service to ping stolen laptops and AirPods Max headphones
  • Between July 14 and 15 the Atlanta Police Department’s Larceny from Auto Unit obtained an arrest warrant for an unidentified person of interest in connection with the break-in
  • No suspect has been publicly named and authorities have not confirmed whether any of the stolen files or equipment have been recovered
  • Beyoncé’s scheduled four-night residency at Mercedes-Benz Stadium proceeded without reported interruption despite the security breach
