Atlanta Likely to Host Super Bowl LXII in 2028

NFL team owners are expected to vote on awarding the 2028 Super Bowl to Mercedes-Benz Stadium in October.

Super Bowl LXII would be the second Super Bowl hosted at Mercedes-Benz Stadium, the first being in 2019.
Key owners on the NFL Fan Engagement & Major Events Committee support Atlanta's bid.
The final decision will be made at the upcoming owners' meeting in Atlanta on October 15.
Mercedes-Benz Stadium is already set to host major events, including the 2025 College Football Playoff National Championship and eight matches of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
Previous Super Bowls in Atlanta were held at the Georgia Dome in 1994 and 2000.
