Atlanta Hawks Rookie Kobe Bufkin Sidelined for Two Weeks with Fractured Thumb

Injury occurred during G-League practice with the College Park Skyhawks; 15th pick Bufkin had played in two of the first five games of the season.

Atlanta Hawks rookie guard Kobe Bufkin will be out of action for at least two weeks due to a fractured left thumb.
The injury occurred while Bufkin was practicing with the Hawks' G-League affiliate, the College Park Skyhawks.
Bufkin was the 15th pick in the NBA draft and has so far played in two of Atlanta’s first five games, scoring his first career point on a free throw.
During the first five games, Bufkin was used sparingly, coming in during mop-up time and missing all three of his shots from the field.
Bufkin's injury status will be re-evaluated in two weeks, at which point the Hawks will give an update.
