Athletes Unlimited Introduces Traditional Softball League for 2025

The new league will feature a 30-game season with four teams, expanding professional opportunities for softball players.

Games will be held in 6-8 cities in 2025 before transitioning to a city-based format in 2026.
ESPN will broadcast at least 18 games on its linear platforms, with additional partners to be announced.
The new league complements the existing AU Pro Softball Championship Season, which will be renamed the AUSL Champions Cup.
Average player compensation is expected to be $45,000, with potential earnings up to $75,000 for dual-format participation.
