Overview

  • Ather said its first scooter based on EL is planned for around next festive season, with production at the new Factory 3.0 in Aurangabad and coexistence alongside the 450 and Rizta ranges.
  • The platform introduces a unibody steel chassis and a swingarm-mounted motor, with claims of roughly 15% faster assembly and service intervals extended to 10,000 km.
  • New systems include an Advanced Electronic Braking System to reduce stopping distances and rear-wheel lockups, plus a Charge Drive Controller that integrates the onboard charger with the motor controller.
