Atal Bridge Draws 7.77 Million Visitors, Generates ₹27.70 Crore Since 2022

SRFDCL’s latest tally shows ticket sales have recovered more than a third of the ₹74 crore build cost.

Overview

  • Between April and October 2025, the bridge recorded 8.51 lakh visitors and ₹4.82 crore in ticket revenue, reflecting sustained interest.
  • Year-wise figures show 21.62 lakh visitors (₹6.44 crore) from Aug 31, 2022 to Mar 2023, 26.89 lakh (₹8.24 crore) in Apr 2023–Mar 2024, and 20.67 lakh (₹8.19 crore) in Apr 2024–Mar 2025.
  • The project was built for about ₹74 crore, with cumulative receipts equating to just over 37% of cost recovery to date.
  • The bridge was constructed and is managed by the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd., a subsidiary of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
  • Current ticket rates are ₹50 for adults and ₹30 for children aged 3–12 and senior citizens, up from earlier prices of ₹30 and ₹15.
