Atal Bridge Draws 7.77 Million Visitors, Earns ₹27.70 Crore Through October 2025

Ticket revenue under SRFDCL recoups over 37 percent of the ₹74 crore build cost.

  • From April to October 2025, 8.51 lakh visitors generated ₹4.82 crore, reflecting sustained footfall this year.
  • SRFDCL reports 21.62 lakh visitors and ₹6.44 crore in Aug 31, 2022–Mar 2023, 26.89 lakh and ₹8.24 crore in Apr 2023–Mar 2024, and 20.67 lakh and ₹8.19 crore in Apr 2024–Mar 2025.
  • Admission is ₹50 for adults and ₹30 for children aged 3–12 and senior citizens, up from earlier rates of ₹30 and ₹15.
  • The pedestrian bridge, estimated at ₹74 crore, is operated by the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation Ltd., a subsidiary of the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.
  • Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated the bridge on August 27, 2022, with public access beginning August 31.
