At National School Games, J&K LG Urges Youth to Resist Radicalisation

• Speaking in Jammu at the closing ceremony of the 69th National School Games, Manoj Sinha called on young people to oppose radicalisation and those promoting it.
• He reiterated zero tolerance for militancy and ordered the strongest action against attempts to radicalise the youth.
• Security agencies were instructed to intensify intelligence-led operations and to closely track digital platforms used for recruitment or funding by militant outfits.
• The directives build on a high-level review held two days earlier that reaffirmed a 360-degree strategy targeting terror financing, narcotics routes, overground workers and sympathisers.
• The Games featured football, wushu, taekwondo and table tennis with participants from 34 states and union territories, where Sinha also presented trophies and released a departmental compendium.
