At least 56 dead, dozens injured in apartment building fire in Vietnam's capital

A fire broke out in a nine-story apartment building in Hanoi, Vietnam, killing at least 56 people.
The fire started late at night in the building's parking area and spread quickly through the building which housed around 150 residents.
Rescue efforts were challenging due to the building's location down a narrow alley, with limited exits and no external emergency ladders.
Most victims died from smoke inhalation or injuries sustained while attempting to escape the flames.
The cause remains under investigation, and the owner of the building has been detained by authorities.
