Asus Unveils ROG Phone 8 and 8 Pro at CES 2024

The new models feature significant camera upgrades, water and dust resistance, and wireless charging for the first time.

Asus has revealed the ROG Phone 8 and ROG Phone 8 Pro at CES 2024, the latest models in its gaming phone range, with a new design and significant camera upgrades.
The ROG Phone 8 Pro features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, with a 6.78-inch LPTO Samsung flexible AMOLED touchscreen, and a 50-megapixel main camera with Asus’ 6-axis gimbal stabilizer.
For the first time, Asus has made the ROG Phone water and dust resistant with an IP68 rating and has added wireless charging.
The ROG Phone 8 is similar to the Pro version but has a simple RGB display on the back and comes with 256GB of internal storage space.
The standard ROG Phone 8 costs $1,099 with a special preorder price of $999, while the ROG Phone 8 Pro costs $1,199.
