Asus Unveils ROG NUC at CES 2024
Compact Gaming PC Comes in Two Configurations, Supports Up to Four 4K Displays
- Asus unveiled its latest ROG NUC, codenamed Scorpion Canyon, at CES 2024, after Intel handed over its NUC business to Asus.
- The compact gaming PC comes in two configurations: one with an Intel Core Ultra 7 155H and an Nvidia RTX 4060 GPU, and the other with a Core Ultra 9 185H and RTX 4070 GPU.
- The ROG NUC features a slim design, can be positioned either horizontally or vertically, and supports Dual Channel SO-SIMM DDR5 memory, three M.2 2280 PCIe Gen4x4 slots, and Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3.
- Asus promises a tool-less chassis for easy and quick upgrades, but has yet to announce any price indication for either of the models.
- The ROG NUC can support up to four 4K displays, making it a compelling option for users needing discrete GPU grunt for apps that would struggle on integrated graphics.
