- ASUS has announced the ROG XG Mobile 2025, an external GPU dock set to release on February 25, offering compatibility with up to NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 5090 Laptop GPU.
- The dock is the first of its kind to feature Thunderbolt 5, providing up to 80Gbps of bidirectional bandwidth for high-performance connectivity and multi-device support.
- Weighing under 2.2 pounds, the compact design includes advanced cooling with a vapor chamber, quieter operation, and a 350W built-in power supply.
- The RTX 5090 variant is priced at $2,199, while a less expensive option with the RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPU will also be available, though pricing for the latter is not yet confirmed.
- The dock supports up to 8K video output, triple 4K monitor setups at 144Hz, and includes ports for HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 2.1, USB, SD card readers, and 5GbE Ethernet.
