Arizona State University (ASU) cancelled an event featuring Rep. Rashida Tlaib due to procedural issues.
The event was organized by the Arizona Palestine Network, a group not affiliated with ASU.
Tlaib was scheduled to speak at the event titled 'Palestine is an American Issue'.
The cancellation followed a letter from a bipartisan group of Arizona lawmakers stating Tlaib's 'extremist, antisemitic views' were not welcome in the state.
Tlaib was censured by the U.S. House of Representatives earlier this month for defending Hamas and calling for the destruction of the Jewish state.
