Astros' New Manager Joe Espada Finalizes Coaching Staff

Dave Clark and Jason Bell join as coaches, Omar López promoted to bench coach.

New Astros manager Joe Espada has completed his coaching staff, retaining most of the group from last season.
Dave Clark and Jason Bell have been added as first-base coach and quality assurance coach respectively.
Omar López, who had been the team's first-base coach since 2020, was promoted to bench coach.
Clark, a 13-year MLB veteran, returned to the Astros after serving as the team's third-base coach from 2009 to 2012 and first-base coach in 2013.
Bell has been in the Astros organization for seven seasons, serving as the team's minor league field coordinator since 2019 and assistant director of player development last season.
