Aston Villa Signs Dutch Forward Donyell Malen from Borussia Dortmund

The 25-year-old Netherlands international joins the Premier League club for a reported £21 million to strengthen their attacking options.

Donyell Malen, 25, has signed with Aston Villa from Borussia Dortmund for a reported fee of £21 million ($25.6 million).
Malen, a Netherlands international with 41 caps and 9 goals, remains a key player for his national team under coach Ronald Koeman.
The forward scored 13 Bundesliga goals last season and contributed to Dortmund's run to the Champions League final, where they lost to Real Madrid.
Malen began his career at Ajax, joined Arsenal's academy in 2015, and later moved to PSV Eindhoven, where he scored 40 goals in 80 appearances.
At Aston Villa, Malen will compete with Leon Bailey, Morgan Rogers, Jhon Durán, and Ollie Watkins for a spot in the attack under manager Unai Emery.
