Assault Charge Against Titans' Rashad Weaver Dropped by Prosecutors

Weaver was charged with misdemeanor assault in Pittsburgh in 2021 for an alleged altercation with a woman.
The charges were filed shortly before Weaver was drafted by the Tennessee Titans.
Prosecutors decided in late June 2022 not to pursue the criminal case against Weaver.
The case was officially closed, with the scheduled trial canceled.
Weaver is expected to compete for a starting job at linebacker for the Titans this season.
