Assassin’s Creed Shadows Summer Roadmap Brings New Game Plus, QoL Updates and September DLC

Overview

  • On July 29, the update will introduce New Game Plus, resetting story progression while preserving player level, gear and skill points; raise the level cap from 60 to 80 with new Knowledge and Mastery ranks; and launch Project 3 for Animus-themed resources and rewards.
  • An early September update will deliver quality-of-life features including world map unfogging after viewpoint sync, time-of-day skipping, new Mythic and Artifact Forge rarities, hideout enhancements and uncapped PC cutscene frame rates.
  • Claws of Awaji, the first story expansion set on Awaji Island, releases September 16 free for pre-order customers and unlocks after completing the main story, with a standalone purchase option available after launch.
  • Ubisoft will host a Reddit AMA on August 12 to share further details about upcoming content and gather community feedback.
  • Since its March launch, Assassin’s Creed Shadows has surpassed five million players, marking a significant milestone for the franchise.
