  • The Northeast Frontier Railway deployed maximum manpower and machinery to clear debris and stabilize slopes in less than seven days of heavy monsoon disruption.
  • Freight services carrying petroleum and food grains to Tripura and the Barak Valley were prioritized during the phased resumption on June 29.
  • Trial operations on June 28–29 tested express and special services through the affected stretch, confirming track safety before full-fledged services resumed.
  • NFR officials continue to monitor and reinforce the corridor throughout the monsoon season to mitigate future landslide risks.
