  • The state government is applying both sedition laws and the National Security Act to prosecute individuals for posts deemed inimical to national integrity.
  • The crackdown follows the Baisaran attack near Pahalgam, claimed by The Resistance Front, which killed 26 tourists and injured 17 in April.
