  • The friends reported at Shivpuri police station that she had been swept away by a river near their campsite, triggering a multi-day search.
  • On June 10, rescue teams recovered her body from the banks of the Ganga in Pauri Garhwal after efforts by local police and State Disaster Response Force divers.
  • Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Dima Hasao CEM Debolal Gorlosa have urged immediate legal action and pledged full support to her bereaved family.
