Assam Rifles IG Conference Concludes in Shillong With Push for Vigilance and Modernisation

Overview

• The two-day meeting was held November 3–4 at Headquarters DGAR in Laitkor, Shillong under Director General Lt Gen Vikas Lakhera.
• Formation commanders, battalion commanders and staff officers from across the force participated.
• Lt Gen Lakhera urged personnel to safeguard the India–Myanmar frontier and stay prepared for future contingencies and emerging threats.
