- Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said the proposals are in their final drafting stage and will be placed before the Cabinet before being tabled in the Assam Assembly.

- During a visit to Nagaon, Sarma opened an Olympic-standard swimming pool costing Rs 7.12 crore and inaugurated a health services office, a market complex and the new Gaurav Path road under the CIDF.
- Under the Mukhyamantri Mahila Udyamita Abhiyan, 26,585 women in the Nagaon–Batadrava constituency received Rs 10,000 each as first-phase start-up support.
- Sarma said Union Home Minister Amit Shah is expected by late December or early January to inaugurate the Batadrava Satra conservation project.
