Overview
- Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma inaugurated the Jagdish Chandra Bose campus of Rabindranath Thakur Vishwavidyalaya in Hojai, built at Rs 57.34 crore.
- He committed an additional Rs 50 crore to expand the university and connect the campus directly to the National Highway.
- The state will set up a NIELIT centre at the university and launch diploma and certificate courses in bio-informatics and artificial intelligence.
