- Assam Education Minister Dr. Ranoj Pegu handed out smartphones to Anganwadi workers in Sivasagar to bolster digital nutrition tracking under the Poshan Abhiyaan.
- Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K. Sangma oversaw the distribution of over 6,000 devices in East Garo Hills made possible by a Rs 6 crore grant from the Union Ministry of Women and Child Development.
- Each phone is pre-loaded with the POSHAN Tracker App, enabling frontline workers to upload real-time metrics on children’s height, weight and maternal health in place of manual registers.
