Overview
- Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma kicked off the Nalbari event, where 33,909 SHG members received the first instalment through direct benefit transfer.

- Sarma said all constituencies will be covered within three months, with rollout moving next to Jagiroad and then Margherita.

- The state has committed Rs 10,000 each to roughly 40 lakh SHG members across Assam, and Nalbari district is projected to reach 94,841 beneficiaries after planned distributions in Tihoo and Barokhetri.
