Overview

• Over Rs 410 crore will be transferred each month through direct bank payments under the expanded programme.
• About 6 lakh beneficiaries in the Bodoland Territorial Region will be added within weeks, taking coverage to 40 lakh.
• Beneficiaries received the October installment within hours of launch, with future payments scheduled for the 10th of every month.
• Ration card holders will get subsidised pulses, salt and sugar from November 1, alongside Rs 250 assistance per LPG cylinder.
• Block-level Orunodoi Assistants and a dedicated helpline will support delivery, and benefits can shift to the next eligible family member if a recipient dies.
