- Application forms have been distributed across 35 districts from August 6 to 8, marking the statewide commencement of Nijut Moina 2.0.
- Phase 2 now includes central university and self-financed course students alongside those in higher secondary, undergraduate, postgraduate and B.Ed programmes.
- Beneficiaries will receive ₹1,000 monthly for class XI–XII, ₹1,250 for undergraduates and ₹2,500 for postgraduate students via direct benefit transfers.
- District commissioners and college principals are charged with ensuring transparent implementation and raising awareness in remote communities.
