- Funeral rites for 67-year-old Anubhav Tulasi were held at the Nabagraha crematorium in Guwahati today with family members, colleagues and admirers in attendance.

- Over a four-decade career Tulasi authored more than 20 poetry collections and 30 books across genres and received honors including the Munin Barkotoki Award and a senior fellowship from the Union Ministry of Culture.
- His selected poems are taught in postgraduate courses at Gauhati University, Cotton University and Lakhimpur College and his work reached international audiences through translations and festival appearances.
