Overview

• The university awarded degrees to 1,417 undergraduates, 419 postgraduates and 22 PhD scholars at the Panikhaiti campus ceremony.
• Padma Shri Dr. Randeep Guleria received a D.Sc. (Honoris Causa) and Dr. Sri Sri Pitambar Dev Goswami received a D.Litt. (Honoris Causa), conferred by Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya.
• In his address, the Governor urged at least 20% teaching outside classrooms in project mode and highlighted 278 MoUs as markers of growth.
• The Vice Chancellor’s report outlined progress in academics, research, innovation and collaborations over the past year without announcing new policy commitments.
• Institutional honors included Gold Medals to Punam Kumari and Krishna Kumar Bharti, a placement award to Nafisa Rahman Chiudhuri, an alumni award to Leimapokpam Ranjita Devi, and the Best Postgraduate led the Oath of Dedication.
