ASML Announces Leadership Transition: Christophe Fouquet to Become CEO in 2024

Current CEO Peter Wennink and Co-President Martin van den Brink to retire, with Jim Koonmen appointed as Chief Customer Officer.

ASML Holding N.V. is set to appoint Christophe Fouquet, currently the company's Chief Business Officer, as the next CEO, with the appointment subject to notification of the annual meeting on April 24, 2024.
Current CEO, Peter Wennink, and Co-President Martin van den Brink will retire from ASML upon completion of their current appointment terms on the same date.
Fouquet has been with ASML for 15 years, overseeing its extreme ultraviolet (EUV) product lines, which now account for about half of the company's sales.
The Supervisory Board also intends to appoint Jim Koonmen as Chief Customer Officer, a new position in ASML's Board of Management.
ASML is a leading supplier to the semiconductor industry, with its EUV technology used by only a handful of manufacturers to make advanced chips.
