Asisat Oshoala, a six-time African Player of the Year, has left Barcelona to join NWSL expansion team Bay FC, signing a contract through 2026 with an option for 2027.
Oshoala scored 107 goals in 149 appearances for Barcelona, making her the club's fourth-highest goalscorer in history.
The Nigerian striker has won four Liga F titles, two UEFA Women's Champions Leagues and three Copas de la Reina during her time with Barcelona.
Oshoala is known for her bright hair colors and is the first Nigerian to score in three Women’s World Cups.
Bay FC will play its inaugural season in the NWSL in 2024.
