Overview
- The Emirates Cricket Board confirmed that 18 matches will now begin at 6:30pm GST (8:00pm IST), instead of the originally planned 6:00pm local starts.
- The only exception is UAE vs Oman on September 15 in Abu Dhabi, which remains a day game at 4:00pm local (5:30pm IST).
- The India–Pakistan Group A match in Dubai on September 14 will now start at 8:00pm IST (6:30pm local).
- Organisers coordinated the change with the Asian Cricket Council, venue partners and broadcasters to prioritise player welfare and spectator comfort.
- Tournament dates, venues and format are unchanged for the T20 event running September 9–28 across Dubai and Abu Dhabi with eight teams and 19 matches.
