The rollout targets value without loyalty requirements, sharpening price tiers across lunch options.

  • Asda says the new bundle includes 132 mains, 336 snacks and 222 drinks, is available in all stores including Asda Express and online, and undercuts rivals’ non-member prices.

  • Tesco’s recent increases set its standard Meal Deal at £3.85 with Clubcard or £4.25 without, and its premium at £5.50 with Clubcard or £6 without, as Pret trials £6–£7 lunch bundles in 70 stores.
