Asap Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, was initially denied entry to a nightclub early in his career.
Rihanna, who did not know him at the time, questioned the bouncers and advocated for his entry.
The pair first performed together at the MTV Video Music Awards in September 2012.
In 2013, Asap Rocky joined Rihanna on her world tour, marking the beginning of their professional collaboration.
Though they became a couple only a few years ago, they now have two sons, RZA born in 2022 and Riot in 2023.
