The Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) ruled the ads omitted crucial information about Bartlett's roles at Huel and Zoe.
Bartlett is an investor in Zoe and a director at Huel, which was not disclosed in the advertisements.
The ads appeared on Facebook and featured Bartlett endorsing the products without revealing his vested interests.
Both Huel and Zoe defended their ads, arguing that consumers would assume a commercial relationship.
The ASA has ordered that the ads must not appear again in their current form.
