Overview
- The State Election Commission scheduled formal notification for November 17, nominations through November 24, scrutiny on November 26, withdrawal by November 29, and counting on December 20 with completion targeted by December 23.
- A total of 831,648 voters are eligible, including 759,210 for panchayat bodies and 72,438 for the two municipal elections.
- Contests cover 27 zilla parishads with 245 constituencies, 2,103 gram panchayats with 8,181 seats, the Itanagar Municipal Corporation with 20 wards, and the Pasighat Municipal Council with 8 wards.
- Panchayat voting will use ballot boxes, while municipal polling will use EVMs, with 2,171 panchayat polling stations plus 67 in Itanagar and 12 in Pasighat.
