Overview

• Union Coal Minister G Kishan Reddy is slated to conduct the Bhoomi Poojan, hand over the mining lease, flag off Coal Projects Private Limited machinery, and lead a 100-tree plantation drive.
• The Namchik-Namphuk block in Changlang district holds an estimated 1.5 crore tonnes of coal, according to the Coal Ministry.
