Arunachal CM Pema Khandu Unveils Youth Apps, Projects in West Kameng, Orders Probe Into Frontier Highway Land Deal

• At a Nov. 1 public event in West Kameng, Pema Khandu launched youth, child-safety and tourism tools alongside multiple development works.
• He rolled out the Yodha‑Bandhu tele‑counselling app for substance abuse and emotional distress, the Choo‑Man‑Tar child‑protection game, and the Yakatopia tourism information app.
• Khandu performed bhumi pujan and laid the foundation for the proposed Grong Buddha Park, envisioned with a grand statue, monastery, museum and community facilities.

• Referring to alleged fund misuse in land acquisition on the Frontier Highway’s Lada–Sarli stretch, he announced a high‑level probe, said suspension orders would follow within a day or two based on preliminary findings, and warned the stretch could face delays due to ensuing inquiries.
