Bochner Named News Corp's New Chief Communications Officer

Bochner, a former Disney executive, will succeed Jim Kennedy who is set to retire later this year.

Arthur Bochner, a veteran communications advisor, has been named as the new chief communications officer and executive vice president of News Corp, succeeding Jim Kennedy who is set to retire later this year.
Bochner, who has spent the past decade at Disney, will join News Corp this month and work with Kennedy and his team during the transition.
Prior to Disney, Bochner held key communications roles at Bloomberg, Citigroup and FD Public Affairs.
Bochner is moving from Los Angeles to New York with his family and will be based at News Corp headquarters at 1211 Avenue of the Americas.
Bochner has a bachelor’s degree in political science and government from the University of Pennsylvania, and is pursuing an MBA at the University of Michigan’s Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
