Arteris Secures 22-Year Repactuation of BR-101/RJ After Solo Bid

The Secex Consenso–aligned contract introduces tighter ANTT oversight to unlock long-delayed upgrades.

Overview

  • A competitive session at B3 confirmed Arteris as the only proposer, formalizing the repactuation under ANTT and the Transport Ministry.
  • The renewed term runs for 22 years, with reported investments ranging from R$10.18 billion to R$6.18 billion in works plus R$4.12 billion in operating costs.
  • Arteris offered a 0% discount on the projected toll, with ANTT’s recalculated homogeneous tariff at R$23.64 per 100 km.
  • Planned works include lane duplications, additional lanes, marginal roads, pedestrian overpasses, new urban accesses, cycling infrastructure, and the Campos bypass.
  • The 322 km stretch from Niterói to the Espírito Santo border anchors logistics for the Bacia de Campos, and Arteris signaled further renegotiations such as Fernão Dias in December.
