Arsenal Make First Contact Over Can Uzun

Overview

• Reports published Thursday and Friday say Arsenal asked 11WINS, the agency that represents Can Uzun, for information in an exploratory move that stopped short of any bid or talks with Eintracht Frankfurt.
• Can Uzun is a 20-year-old Turkey international who has four goals and three assists in six games this season and can play as a striker, a number 10 or on the left.
• Uzun is under contract at Frankfurt until 2029, and the German club reportedly sought about €60 million when Galatasaray showed interest in the summer, creating a significant valuation hurdle.
• Sources frame Arsenal’s action as pre-window scouting to build attacking options rather than an imminent transfer pursuit, with the club unlikely to match reported price expectations at this stage.
• The contact with 11WINS is notable because the agency also represents other young prospects such as Nicolo Tresoldi, which could influence how Arsenal assess multiple targets through shared agent relationships.
