Overview

  • Investigators with the Atlanta Police Department’s Larceny from Auto Unit secured a warrant on July 14 for an unnamed suspect in the July 8 vehicle break-in.
  • Thieves stole five jump drives containing watermarked and unreleased music, show footage plans and past and future setlists from a rental Jeep Wagoneer.
  • Personal items including two laptops, designer sunglasses, clothing and a pair of AirPods Max were also taken during the same incident.
  • Police reviewed parking-garage security cameras, dusted the vehicle for light prints and conducted a suspicious stop based on signals from the stolen headphones.
  • Beyoncé completed her four-night residency at Mercedes-Benz Stadium as planned and will conclude the Cowboy Carter tour with two Las Vegas dates later this month.
