Arrest Made in Theft of Beyoncé’s Unreleased Music in Atlanta

Police say the hard drives with watermarked unreleased music remain missing.

  • Atlanta police confirmed Sept. 16 that Kelvin Evans, 40, was taken into custody on Aug. 26 by Hapeville police and booked into the Fulton County Jail.
  • Evans is charged with entering an automobile with intent to commit theft, and his bond is set at $20,000, according to booking records.
  • The July 8 break-in targeted a rented Jeep Wagoneer used by choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue in a Krog Street parking garage.
  • Stolen luggage included hard drives with unreleased music, show footage plans and set lists, as well as laptops, AirPods Max and designer items, police reports state.
  • Investigators lifted light fingerprints, identified a 2025 red Hyundai Elantra on security footage, and say the case remains active with no property recovered.
