Arrest Made in Atlanta Theft of Beyoncé Hard Drives

Police say the stolen media remain missing.

Overview

  • The suspect, identified in reports as either Kelvin Williams or Kelvin Evans, was arrested Aug. 26 in Hapeville and booked into Fulton County Jail on a charge of entering an automobile with intent to commit theft.
  • The July 8 break-in occurred at a Krog Street parking deck, where two suitcases were taken from a rented Jeep Wagoneer used by choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue.
  • Police reports say the missing hard drives held watermarked unreleased music, show footage plans, and past and future set lists.
  • Investigators cited parking-deck surveillance, “light prints” from the scene, and device tracking via Apple’s Find My; a 2025 red Hyundai Elantra was listed as a possible suspect vehicle.
  • Authorities have not announced the recovery of the hard drives, laptops, headphones, or other stolen items, and no additional charges have been reported.
