Overview

• Anthony James Tyree, 34, also known as "Dot Diggla," is charged with two counts of murder, attempted murder, and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
• Police arrested Tyree at his Pittsburg home on August 18, booked him into San Francisco County Jail, and set an arraignment for Tuesday afternoon.
• Homicide investigators serving a search warrant found an AR-15–style ghost gun hidden in Tyree’s bedroom, officials said.
• Prosecutors say the case stems from a January 27, 2015 Bayview shooting in which passengers in a Dodge pickup fired on an Infinity SUV, killing its passenger and a woman bystander; the woman has been reported as Maria Soza.
• The District Attorney’s Office plans to seek detention pending trial, and SFPD’s Homicide Cold Case Unit continues to investigate.
